COMMUNICATIONS - DATABASES

Nepal Plant Pathology Resources
The purpose of this database is to make systematically available all the now widely scattered information on plant pathology in Nepal (e.g. on the incidence of disease, yield loss and disease management). The database, which includes a bibliography, will make it easier to assess research results to date, and to determine an agenda for future research. The bibliographical part of the database is complete; other aspects of the project are in progress. It is the intention eventually to expand the database by including information on entomology, weed science and indigenous knowledge on plant protection in Nepal. It can then be called the Nepal Plant Protection Resources Database.
