Jaroslav Mihálik holds a doctorate in political theory. He is Head of the Department of Political Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia. Among other things, he is responsible for the research and science agenda at the faculty, which particularly involves migration, nationalist and extremist studies, youth civic engagement, and political participation. He is also involved in international collaborative research projects, specifically focused on children and young people.
