Jennifer Franco
Jennifer Franco is co-coordinator of the Agrarian Justice team of the Transnational Institute (TNI) in the Netherlands, working on land and rural politics issues. She is also an adjunct faculty of the College of Humanities and Development (COHD) at the China Agricultural University in Beijing. Franco holds a PhD in politics.
Land grabbing is an expression of the dominant development model based on production and consumption patterns in which financial capital reigns.
