John O'Loughlin
John O'Loughlin is a political geographer interested in the dynamics of conflicts. His work is focused on the former Soviet Union and in Kenya. He uses large representative public opinion surveys to gauge post-conflict beliefs and possibilities for reconciliation. He is a College Professor of Distinction in Geography at the University of Colorado-Boulder.
Reducing violent conflict in Africa is often cited as a reason for governments to work on lowering CO2 emissions – climate matters, but other factors are more important.
