Ken Matthysen
Ken Matthysen is a researcher at the International Peace Information Service (IPIS) in Antwerp, Belgium. He works on the arms trade, security and the exploitation of natural resources in Central Africa. Matthysen studied political and social sciences at the university of Antwerp and completed the Master’s programme in Conflict and Development at Ghent University.
Minerals play an important role in the Congolese conflict. But it is certainly not only about greed.
