Lucie Pluschke
Lucie Pluschke is a Water-Energy-Food Nexus Officer with the Land and Water Division at FAO. She works on approaches to address the complexity and interlinkages of natural resources systems and agricultural development. She previously worked for the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) and the Heinrich-Böll Foundation in Beirut on international water policy issues. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Sussex and a M.Sc. in Sustainability Science from the University of Lund.
Agriculture uses large amounts of water and energy to produce food. Sustainable food production requires greater attention to the interrelated nature of our global resource system.
