Dr. Ir. Margreet Zwarteveen is Assistant Professor and Senior Researcher Irrigation and Water Management and Gender Studies at the Wageningen University. She is coordinator of different programs at the NWO-WOTRO, like the Integrated Program “The Globalisation of Water Struggles” (2011-2015), the Program: “Drip Irrigation Realities in Perspective” (2011-2015), the Integrated Program “Struggling for Water Security” (2008-2012). She works also as scientific advisor to the project: “Gender and Equity in the Water Sector in South Asia”, with SOPPECOM, SaciWATERS and GWA (2009-2011), and is coordinator for the International Research Program Justicia Hídrica/Water Justice (2009-...).
