Radha Chanchani

Radha is Managing Associate, Research & Practice at EMBARQ India, part of the Ross Center for Sustainable cities of World Resources Institute (WRI) India. She is currently involved with extending the work on policy and planning solutions to manage two-wheelers in Indian cities. Before joining EMBARQ India, Radha was employed as an Urban Planner-Designer at the Center for Infrastructure, Sustainable Transport and Urban Planning (CiSTUP). Here she was active in carrying out applied research in the areas of urban planning-design, mobility, environmental, policy and governance issues, with a focus on Bangalore city. Prior to this, she has consulted on studies pertaining to intermediate and informal public transport in Indian cities. Radha has been an Associate at a private firm in Bangalore where she gained exposure to a range of urban issues and scales through work on a variety of urban planning, design and management projects.
