Ria Brouwers
Ria Brouwers is political scientist graduated at the University of Nijmegen, specialised in development studies. She joined the ISS in 1990 where she now combines the research and advisory work with teaching in her areas of expertise, including international aid, evaluation of policy and programmes, and gender equality.
It’s a midlife crisis. This conclusion about the current condition of the NGOs strikes my mind after reading the think-piece by Michael Edwards for the debate on the future role of NGOs.
