Ruud van Soelen currently lives and works in Mali for SPARK, an NGO that promotes private sector development and entrepreneurship in conflict-affected states. Ruud holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics and a Master's degree in International Development Studies. In previous years, he worked as an entrepreneur in the consultancy business in Amsterdam, managed ICT projects in Ghana and conducted research in Mexico and Indonesia.
