Sibylle Koenig, EU Liaison Officer, German Foundation for World Population (DSW) – Member of Action for Global Health. Sibylle Koenig studied German and French Law at Cologne University (Germany) and Sorbonne University (Paris, France). She complemented her studies with a Master of Arts in European Studies at Humboldt University, Berlin, and a European Masters in International Humanitarian Assistance at the Ruhr-University in Bochum, Germany. Sibylle has worked for UNIFEM in Ecuador; the Delegation of the European Commission in Argentina and the German Development Service (DED) as well as UN-INSTRAW in the Dominican Republic, among other organisations. In January 2010, Sibylle took up the position of EU Liaison Officer for DSW Brussels and has, among other, been in charge of implementing DSW’s activities in the framework of the Action for Global Heath European NGO network programme. Sibylle currently works as an EU Liaison Officer at the German Foundation for World Population (DSW) in Brussels, Belgium.

Global health cooperation: what is next?

In November 2011, Action for Global Health participated in the Busan Aid Effectiveness Civil Society Forum and the High Level Forum together with health advocates from the Busan Health Working group convened by the network. Our goal in the run up to and during Busan was to ensure health was included in development co-operation priorities.
