Dr. Sunil Tankha holds a PhD in Economic Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and currently teaches development policy at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam. His main field of interest involves development strategies and policies. His work spans the global south, and especially Brazil and India. Dr. Tankha has recently analyzed the political economy of reforms in the power and water sectors in Brazil and India. His research has appeared in various journals such as Energy Policy and the Journal of Latin American Studies.
