Tagel Gebrehiwot is a graduate economist and is a post-doctoral researcher at the Laboratory for Social Interaction and Economic Behaviour of University of Twente. His field of expertise include policy impact evaluation, poverty and food security analysis, risk response of smallholder farmers, environmental impact assessment, role of micro and small enterprises, micro-insurance, vulnerability assessments and farm level climate adaptations. He also gained an ample experience in applied econometrics, remote sensing and GIS in relation to drought monitoring and various aspects of environmental applications.
