Francisco Campos is a Senior Economist for the World Bank’s Trade and Competitiveness Global Practice. He’s also Thematic Leader on Gender and Entrepreneurship for the World Bank’s Africa Region Gender Innovation Lab. Francisco's main areas of expertise are linked to entrepreneurship, MSMEs, innovation, competitiveness, financial inclusion, and gender. He leads private sector development projects in fragile countries in Africa and various research studies on entrepreneurship. Prior to joining the World Bank, he has held a variety of positions in a number of organizations on investment promotion and investment management.
