Béla Galgóczi is a Senior Researcher at the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) in the field of economic and labour market policy. Before joining the ETUI, Galgóczi worked as a researcher at several Hungarian research institutes and was economic advisor to various Hungarian ministries. He graduated in electronic engineering from the Technical University of Budapest and in sociology and philosophy from the University of Sciences in Budapest. He completed postgraduate studies in political science at the University of Amsterdam and obtained a PhD in Economics from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
