Freek Landmeter (1964) is Director of IKV Pax Christi. After working as an engineer with Interbeton bv (HBG) in Marsa El Brega, Libya, Freek chose to change careers and work in humanitarian aid. First as a volunteer with Doctors Without Borders, later as director operations for the same organization. In 2001, he became director at IKV Pax Christi. He lived and worked in the Democratic Republic Congo, former Yugoslavia and has been field director with MwB in Sierra Leone and Afghanistan.
