Crelis Rammelt is a Postdoctoral Researcher in International Development Studies at Utrecht University and Lecturer at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Amsterdam. He holds a PhD in Environment and Development from the University of New South Wales. His research interests include poverty and marginalisation, biophysical economics, political ecology, system dynamics, etc. He is also a co-founder of the Arsenic Mitigation and Research Foundation working on a public health action research programme in rural Bangladesh.
