Lavinia Warnars (1985), is an ecopreneur on a mission: to enhance sustainability on a global scale, where social and ecological values are put first and are foremost important, rather than economic gain.

She graduated in a Masters in Social and Political Sciences of the Environment in 2010 and obtained the Advanced Master in International Development in 2013 with a traineeship at Hivos: a humanist development organisation. At Hivos, she was a Junior Programme Officer on Renewable Energy and Carbon Finance. Since January 2014, she works full time on her own organisation called LES: Lavinia's Eco Solutions (www.laviniaes.com).

Lavinia Warnars has been involved with the Yasuni-ITT Initiative since her Master research internship for her thesis in 2009. She then spent six months in Ecuador and visited Yasuni as well. The beauty of the park and the people have inspired her ever since and she is dedicated to support the efforts in Ecuador to save the initiative.
