Patricia Almeida Ashley is Professor at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF, Brazil). She coordinates the Bachelor Course in Environmental Science and the "Rede EConsCiencia e Ecocidades" research and extension group. Patricia was nominated for the Prince Claus Chair in Development and Equity (2009-2011) at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is currently leading the formation of an International Policy and Research Network on Territories of Social Responsibility, bringing in civil society organizations, scholars, business associations and policy makers to share and build knowledge on theory and initiatives for ecoregions.
