Tonia Dabwe is founder and chair of the Mineke Foundation and owner of SoVenture. The Mineke Foundation offers education, vocational training, youth activity clubs and agricultural projects. The Foundation, established in 2009 and active in Liberia, builds on the work that Tonia's Liberian father and Dutch mother started in the late 1960s. In recognition of her work, Tonia received the International African Woman of the Year award from British organization Women4Africa in 2013. Tonia’s consultancy SoVenture, established in 2014, offers advisory services to Western European businesses about investments in West Africa. SoVenture works with European partners to deliver tailor-made solutions leading to long-term sustainable economic development.
