Sothy Khieng is a doctoral researcher in Organization Sciences at the VU University Amsterdam and a Visiting Research Fellow at Griffith University. His research is on “Local NGOs balancing between social value creation and profit-making: the dawn of social enterprises?” He has written a number of publications on nonprofit organizations, economics and health. He is also affiliated with CDRI – Cambodia’s leading independent development policy research institute and the Royal University of Phnom Penh. He received his MA in International Development Studies from Ohio University.
