Valentina Mazzucato is Professor of Globalisation and Development at the University of Maastricht and Honorary Professor at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at Hong Kong University. She teaches theories of globalisation and development and heads three international, multi-year and interdisciplinary research programmes on transnational migration, looking at both economic and socio-cultural impacts.
