Louise van Schaik has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Leiden University (2003) and a PhD in political science of the Catholic University of Leuven (2010). In her research at the Clingendael Institute, Louise focuses at analysing the EU’s performance in international negotiations. She has extensively analysed the EU’s international activities in the fields of health (WHO), climate change (UNFCCC) and food standards (Codex Alimentarius).
