Bart Weijs is the coordinator of the IS Academy Human Security in Fragile States. He is also coordinator-researcher at Humanitarian Aid and Reconstruction, combining in-depth knowledge with practical implementation. Bart grew up in Botswana, completed an MSc in International Development Studies in 2011, and has since worked at WUR on diverse issues, from local governance in fragile states, to evaluating impact of Dutch aid.
