Jonna Both is a postdoctoral researcher at Leiden University since 2015 at the Institute of History. She is connected to the research programme ‘Connecting in Times of Duress’ where she is developing a new research project to be carried out in Chad and Uganda. Previously, Jonna completed a PhD at the Amsterdam School of Social Science Research (AISSR) in 2014. She also worked on a project about youth in the aftermath of conflict in North Western Uganda. Jonna did a Research Masters in African Studies at Leiden University in 2008, including fieldwork in Chad.
