Sayed is a former researcher at the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) of Afghanistan and Integrity Watch Afghanistan (IWA). He holds a master degree in International Cooperation Policy at the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. His research interests are in development economics, foreign aid, rural development and corruption.
