Jos van Beurden

Jos van Beurden is a journalist and researcher specializing in North–South issues. Since 1990 he has focused on the protection of cultural heritage and the illicit trade in art and antiquities. He has studied the problem in many countries and summarized his findings in Goden, Graven en Grenzen: Over Kunstroof uit Afrika, Azië en Latijns Amerika (KIT Publishers, 2002). He is also the author of Partnerships in Cultural Heritage: The International Projects of the KIT Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam (KIT Publishers, 2005). For more information, see this website.
